KEY FACTS

• A superb example of a coveted ‘Rennsport’ model, which has been well maintained and is under extended warranty cover until December 2021.
• Under the engine lid is a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing up to 493bhp, and driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
• Its last service was around 1,350 miles ago, and during this visit Porsche Centre Guildford carried out a partial rebuild of the engine.
• A German-market car (C00 code), this 997 was imported to the UK and re-registered in June 2019.

EQUIPMENT AND OPTIONS

• While it left the factory finished in L041-code Black with black wheels, the latter were recently swapped for another genuine set finished in GT Silver.
• The interior is trimmed in black leather with striking bright red Alcantara seat centre panels and accents.
• Its factory options include the desirable suspension lift system, 90-litre fuel tank, cruise control, and black roll cage.
• A new offside rear lamp unit with fog light was installed in September 2018 by JZM Porsche to match the UK specification. At the same time, the headlights were adjusted for right-hand drive traffic, and the speedometer was switched from a km to mph readout.
• Accompanying the car is the original set of books, including the stamped maintenance record, as well as the tool kit and air compressor. Also included is the optional fire extinguisher (not currently fitted), spare keys, and a car cover.

CONDITION

• No known body damage.
• The Black paintwork is in good condition. Its front bumper has previously been repainted, but otherwise the finish is assumed to be original.
• In January 2020 the original black wheels were taken off and replaced with new genuine wheels in GT Silver, with new valves and sensors.
• The interior is all original and in good condition.
• There are no known faults.
• The most recent MOT test was on 5 September 2020 at 8,839 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• It was last serviced in December 2019 at 7,534 miles by Porsche Centre Guildford. This was an intermediate maintenance visit, which also included fresh brake fluid, a new battery, and a full 111-point warranty check. It was accepted, and remains covered until 18 December 2021.
• During this service, warranty work was also carried out, which included stripping the engine and renewing the crankshaft and crank bearings, as well as the starter motor and bank 1 camshaft actuator.
