EQUIPMENT AND OPTIONS

• Standard equipment on the Club Sport model included the blueprinted engine - which has been seen to produce north of 240hp in some examples - as well as Bilsten sport shock absorbers, Sport Equipment spoilers, a short-shift gear lever and a limited-slip differential.
• While those elements were added, other items were removed to save weight; including the sunroof, air-conditioning, electric windows, central locking, rear seats, rear wiper, door pocket lids, under-sealing, and sound insulation material. Around 70kg was stripped from the weight of a standard Carrera 3.2.
• In 2010, a straight-through centre exhaust box was installed on this car, and the rear silencer was modified to Dansport specification.

• There are no known faults of any kind.
• The most recent MOT test was on 3 August 2020 at 6,340 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The car was serviced in August 2020 at 6,340 miles by Porsche Centre Leeds, which included replacement of the engine oil and oil filter.
• Prior to this, Porsche Centre Leeds also serviced the car in July 2018 at 6,267 miles, with fresh engine oil and filter, brake fluid, and cleaning of the brake calliper pistons; and in March 2016 at 6,252 miles, which included replacement of the spark plugs, fuel filter, brake fluid, and adjustment of the tappets.

SUMMARY

This Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Club Sport is almost certainly a totally unrepeatable example of the breed, showing just 6,416 miles from new, and remaining in outstanding condition. While somewhat overlooked in previous decades, the Club Sport is now considered one of the finest driver’s cars that Porsche has ever built, and this must be the finest example of its kind.
