We Are Now Live In The UAE - Launch Events In Dubai And Abu Dhabi

This weekend we kicked off our offering in the United Arab Emirates. Members of the team along with Chris Harris hosted 3 events over the course of the weekend to launch our global online auction platform to the UAE and wider Middle Eastern market.

SATURDAY 12TH MARCH 2022

The first event was hosted at Flat 12 Cafe in Dubai, a new automotive-inspired cafe and meeting point for local car lovers! The space is comprised of a series of warehouses and the turnout meant all 4 filled very quickly with an eclectic display of Dubai's rich car culture.

Throughout the morning we had over 500 cars and 1,000 people go through the doors to see what cars had come out for our Coffee Run. Thank you to the Flat 12 team for hosting us and allowing us to use their space and of course to everyone that attended.

SUNDAY 13TH MARCH 2022

Following the amazing turnout at Flat 12 we also hosted a more intimate Coffee Run from 16:00 until 20:00 at our new Managed Partner in Abu Dhabi, The Stables. The team at The Stables offer a variety of services for petrol-heads including, storage, vehicle sourcing, detailing, and track events at the Yas Marina F1 circuit.

Our partnership means sellers in the UAE can have their auction managed by The Stables where they will take care of all the preparation before, during, and after a successful auction on the Collecting Cars platform.

The steps our managed partners take are as follows:

Receive your car at their facility and inspect the condition

Give the car an interior and exterior detail

Photograph the car to our in-depth standards

Store the car throughout the auction process and undertake any viewings

Respond to any comments on your behalf

Hand-over the car once the auction has finished and liaise with the buyer

As with many enthusiast-led events around the world Porsche was the main attraction and we had almost every model of GT car turn up for the Coffee Run!

Highlight attendees included a Ferrari F40, Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition, and even a custom built by Mulliner Bentley Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase.
