THE 9TH COLLECTION SALE ON OUR PLATFORM SEES US SELL THE MOST EXPENSIVE CAR WE HAVE EVER OFFERED.

The evening of 23 October saw bidding draw to a close on The MWVMNW Collection, comprising 24 supercars and sports cars from a single owner. It is the ninth such private collection sale on the platform since launch, and yet again highlights the remarkable global reach of the online marketplace.

Star among the sales was the 2004 Ferrari Enzo; one of only around 40 cars painted black from the factory, and maintained by official Ferrari agents from new. After a thrilling bidding war during the week, the final hammer price was £3,276,005 - a new European record price for an online-only auction company. Even more impressive than the price was the buyer’s premium - equivalent to just 0.15%.

In total, The MWVMNW Collection grossed more than £5.4 million for the seller, with a sale rate of 79%. All of this was achieved with zero listing or selling fees. Unlike auctions where there are high ‘cataloguing’ costs and exorbitant commissions taken from the hammer price, the seller of these cars received 100% of the winning bid value.
