Our Coffee Run At Bicester Heritage Welcomed Over 2,000 Cars
by Collecting Cars
A Sunday spent eyeballing the rarest and most eclectic cars while sipping on a coffee.
We returned to Bicester Heritage in mid-September for another instalment of our Coffee Run, this time with a bit of a twist... This was on a different scale to those we have hosted before.
The event welcomed over 2,100 cars and even more people coming along for a morning of eyeballing the rarest and most eclectic cars while sipping on a coffee. The turnout did not disappoint and we would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who came along and brought their 2- or 4-wheeled companion (and 3-wheeled in some cases).
More than 65 'Paint To Sample' Porsches filled the paddock area, not to mention the 1,200-strong contingent of non-PTS Porsches parked alongside! Porsche Club GB, the nationwide car club that has a partnership with Collecting Cars, had a presence on the day and also invited members to park up on a dedicated lawn adorned with most Porsche sports car models one could name.
The main feature of the event was the unveiling of the new SCRS inspired 911 project from Tuthill Porsche. The Tuthill team brought along the first two iterations of the project, which certainly drew a crowd in the PTS Paddock.
Morgan Motor Company displayed its Super 3, Plus Four, and Plus Six models. The Little Car Company showed the crowd the Bugatti Baby II and the Aston Martin DB5 Junior. Ariel Owners Club invited a contingent of brave Nomad and Atom owners to cut through the foggy weather and get out for a drive. Thank you to all the partners who came along and made the event a success.
Our Coffee Run wasn't just about cars though. The Watch Collecting team hosted a stand to discuss what people were wearing on their wrist, and we were also running a competition to give away an automatic carbon-fibre watch-winder.
If you missed out on this Coffee Run then keep an eye on our Events page to register for future events in your area!
We would also like to thank the team at Bicester Heritage for their fastidious planning to ensure everyone arrived and parked up safely.
Have your say!
