2020 PORSCHE 911 (992) TURBO S

This Porsche 992 Turbo S is a handsomely specified example of the marque’s latest ‘everyday supercar’, which offers the enviable combination of ballistic outright pace, a beautifully trimmed cabin, and daily driver practicality. It is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six, producing up to 641bhp and 590lb-ft of torque, with four-wheel drive via the eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission with paddle shift.

It was specified from the factory in the lesser-seen Aventurine Green hue from Porsche’s colour palette, complemented perfectly by an interior upholstered in full Truffle Brown leather. Discerning accents include Crayon seat belts, high-gloss trim, aluminium pedals, white instruments, and the GT steering wheel that is also heated.

The 992 Turbo S has sensational performance, capable of sprinting from 0-62mph in just 2.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 205mph. Porsche’s PASM and PCCB systems are fitted, as is the desirable sports exhaust system. This car’s exterior also features the Exclusive rear tail lights, a rear wiper, and the electric glass sunroof.

First registered on 22 September 2020, this 992 Turbo S is offered directly from its first owner - a Porsche enthusiast and collector - who has enjoyed some 1,800 miles behind the wheel.

As you would expect, this 911’s bodywork and paint remain in absolutely pristine and as-new condition. There are no scuffs, dents or chips in the finish, and the Aventurine Green makes an appealing change from the more common greys and silvers. The car has factory-fitted front paint protection film (PPF), as well as the retro style black PPF sections ahead of the rear wheels, as a nod to the 930 Turbo. It has a staggered wheel setup, with 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear, and all four alloys are immaculate with no kerbing damage or other marks.

The callipers for the carbon-ceramic brakes were specified in black by the owner, as he prefers the more subtle look over the standard yellow. While the suspension lifter was not selected from the options list, the vendor states that it is unnecessary in his view, having used the car on a steep driveway with no issues at all.

Inside, the Truffle Brown leather arguably gives this car a more sophisticated ambience than other examples, and the upholstery is of course still in superb order. Black high-gloss inlays adorn the centre console and door cards, while the GT steering wheel also has carbon-fibre inserts. With dual-zone climate control, cruise control, and selectable Porsche Driving Modes, the Turbo S makes a capable and effortlessly comfortable long-distance cruiser as well as a thrilling supercar. There are no electrical faults, and all of the switchgear works perfectly.

The car will not be due for its first annual service until September 2021, and it is still covered by its three-year factory warranty for further peace of mind. This 911’s wheels are fitted with the original Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres, which are in great shape with ample tread.

Accompanying the car is all of the original literature, and all of the factory and dealer supplied accessories and tools.

This Porsche 992 Turbo S is a particularly eye-catching example of perhaps the ultimate year-round supercar. While it boasts jaw-dropping acceleration and outright speed, the Turbo S is equally well suited to a relaxed school run, and has sufficient practicality to be used for the weekly shop. However, it is no doubt best enjoyed on epic trips across the best roads that the continent has to offer, and this car benefits from being in as-new condition with little more than running-in mileage on the odometer.
