2018 PORSCHE 911 (991.2) GT3 TOURING

This Porsche 991 GT3 Touring is a pristine example of the high-performance sports car, presented in an attractive factory hue and with very low mileage from new. Under the rear engine cover is the 493bhp naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six, which will scream all the way to 9,000rpm and drives the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows just 3,987 miles.

Based on the ‘standard’ GT3, the GT3 Touring is a more subtle affair than its boisterous stablemate. Gone is the substantial rear wing usually found on the GT3, with a deployable spoiler taking its place. The Touring was also only available with a manual transmission, and its interior is trimmed in black leather.

Delivered new to Belgium in October 2018 but not registered until April 2019, this left-hand drive 991.2-generation GT3 Touring was specified with Crayon paintwork, and rides on matt black alloy wheels, which house a set of carbon-ceramic brake discs. It was acquired by the seller six months ago, and was first registered in the UK in February 2021.

Today, the car’s shapely bodywork remains in truly fantastic condition, with no evidence of any prior accident damage and with tight, even shut lines. The distinctive Crayon paintwork is described by the seller as being in excellent condition, with a smooth and glossy appearance around the car and no marks or blemishes to speak of. This is accented by black ‘Porsche’ decals which run along the car’s flanks and were applied by a Porsche main dealer in February 2021, when a set of downlights were also fitted in the door mirrors. This handsome modern 911 rides on its original set of 20-inch alloys with centre locks, which are finished in matt black and are very smart, though the nearside rear wheel does feature some minor kerb scratches on its outer edge.

Moving inside, this GT3 Touring’s cabin presents extremely well indeed. Clad in black leather with corduroy style cloth centre sections, the seats show only the slightest signs of creasing from use. Also trimmed in black leather, the dashboard, door cards and steering wheel are all in great shape, and the glossy carbon-fibre inlays on the dashboard and door trims are unmarked. Factory-fitted equipment includes electrically adjustable and heated seats, climate control, satellite navigation and a premium Bose sound system. All of the car’s buttons, switches and electrical items function as they should, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

This 911’s first and most recent service was carried out in January 2021 at 6,119 km (3,802 miles) by Porsche Centre West London, who also applied its ‘Porsche’ side decals and fitted downlights in the door mirrors, which was an original factory option. Given the car’s recent build-date, its first MOT test has not yet been carried out. All four of its Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2 tyres were fitted as brand-new items in February 2021, and have covered only 200 miles since.

This impressive modern sports car will be accompanied by all of its original documents and accessories, including its owner’s manual and service book.

This Porsche 991 GT3 Touring is a beautifully presented and thoughtfully specified example of the coveted contemporary sports car, which combines sleek styling with the GT3’s screaming 4.0-litre flat-six. While it would undoubtedly make an excellent addition to any collection, this is a Porsche that truly deserves to be driven, and it is sure to delight its next owner every time they put it through its paces.
