2018 BMW (G15) M850i

This BMW M850i is a superb example of the marque’s flagship grand tourer, presenting in excellent condition throughout. Under the bonnet lies a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 523bhp and 553lb-ft of torque, driving all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The odometer reads 15,500 miles.

First registered on 6 November 2018, this UK-market example is offered for sale by a private vendor, who has owned the car for the past 18 months. It boasts a great specification and remains original and unmodified.

Finished in the brilliant shade of Sunset Orange, the M850i’s lines are accentuated well by the deep and even finish of its paintwork. As with any sporting car of its type, there are a handful of stone chips to the front end, while the vendor notes a small mark is also present on the driver’s door. This example has also had its front number plate plinth removed – though the plinth has been retained by the vendor and will be included in the sale. The carbon-fibre roof panel remains in excellent condition with no lacquer damage, while the carbon-fibre boot spoiler, wing mirror caps, bumper and diffuser trims are also unmarked. Its factory-fit 20-inch alloy wheels present well with no kerbing damage.

The cabin of the M850i is a technological powerhouse. The black Merino leather remains in wonderful condition, with only minor signs of wear on the driver’s fully electric memory seat. The infotainment system – encompassing sat-nav, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, and BMW’s Driving Experience Control among other highlights – is in fully operational order, while the dashboard switchgear is in similarly excellent order. There are also front heated seats, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and 360-degree cameras with a top-down view. The vendor states that there are no warning lights visible on the dashboard.

The most recent service was carried out in August 2020 at 12,356 miles by Barons BMW of Borehamwood. This was an engine oil service, microfilter replacement, and coolant level and concentration check.

The first MOT is not due until 5 November 2021. During the vendor’s ownership, the rear tyres have been replaced, and the Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber had approximately 6.6mm of tread at the rear and 4.9mm at the front at the last service.
