CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The Black Sapphire paintwork is described by the vendor as being in excellent overall condition, and the car has recently been detailed throughout. There are only a handful of minor use-related blemishes commensurate with the age and mileage, all normal and only visible on close inspection. These include a few small stone chips across the bonnet and the driver’s-side of the rear bumper, a mark above the exhaust tips on the passenger-side side of the rear bumper, a very minor indentation and scratching on the roof near the boot, and a light scratch to the middle of the roof as well as a small mark to the passenger-side of the roof above the pillar.
• The alloy wheels are in very good order, with only a small cut in the sidewall of the passenger-side front tyre and a very minor indentation above the nearside rear wheel arch.
• Moving inside, the Black Dakota leather-trimmed cabin is in excellent condition, with only a minor scuff to the driver’s seat and two small marks on the top of the steering wheel.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.
• The car underwent its first MOT test on 7 September 2021 at 13,231 miles, resulting in a clean, first-time pass.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This M140i’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in May 2021 at 11,928 miles, when BMW Park Royal performed a regular service, including a brake fluid change.
• Prior to this, in June 2020 at 8,483 miles, BMW Battersea performed an engine oil and filter change as well as replacement of the microfilter.
• Previously, in January 2020 at 5,413 miles, BMW Fairfield Leigh-on-Sea performed a pre-purchase maintenance check, which produced a Vehicle Health Check Report with no advisories.
• In August 2021 at 12,543 miles, BMW Park Royal addressed an outstanding recall relating to a DME control unit, and replaced the stereo unit under warranty.
• The front alloy wheels were refurbished in September 2021.
• The owner states that the next service will be an engine oil service, which will be due in 13,000 miles or June 2022 – whichever comes sooner.
