2015 PORSCHE 911 (991) TURBO CABRIOLET

This Porsche 911 (991) Turbo Cabriolet is a consummate all-rounder, boasting supercar performance combined with everyday usability. It is equipped with a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, producing up to 514bhp and 524lb-ft of torque, with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch paddle shift transmission. The odometer currently indicates 24,367 miles from new.

First registered in January 2015, this 991 has three previous registered keepers on the log book, and was acquired by its most recent private owner in January 2020. It is now offered for sale by the trade.

There is no known prior damage to any of the body panels, which present with flush shut lines and consistent gaps. The black paintwork is in excellent condition, retaining its glossy finish and clearly benefitting from the relatively low mileage. It has also received a ceramic coat protection treatment, to keep it looking as smart as possible.

The black fabric soft-top roof presents with no tears to the material and no signs of any fading. At the front, the Turbo-branded lip spoiler is in good order, as are the rest of the body trims. The 911 rides on the optional 20-inch Turbo S centre-lock alloy wheels, which have just one small graze on the nearside front rim.

Inside, the car has black leather trim with perforated centre panels, presenting with minimal wear even to high-contact areas like the driver’s bolsters, though the owner has reported a slight mark on the front passenger seat. The door cards and floor mats remain neat and tidy, and there is no damage to the dashboard, gear selector, steering wheel or switchgear, other than a few superficial scratches in metal trims.

The front seats feature full electric adjustment and three-stage heating, while there is also dual-zone climate control, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, and the Sport Chrono package. The vendor states that everything works as it should, with no electrical issues and no warning lights present on the dashboard.

The last routine service was undertaken in October 2018 at 22,143 miles, where technicians at Porsche Centre Silverstone changed the engine oil and filter. Prior to this, in August 2017, similar work was carried out by Porsche Centre West London.

The most recent MOT test was on 19 October 2020 at 24,310 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The car initially failed a test earlier that day as the MOT station did not spot one of the tyres was slightly low on pressure. Once this was topped up, the tyre pressure monitoring system was reset with no issues.

The wheels are wrapped in Porsche N-rated Pirelli P Zero tyres in fitment 245/30/R20 at the front and 305/30/R20 at the rear, all with at least 3mm tread remaining. Accompanying the vehicle are the original 911 handbooks and the service book, as well as two keys.

This Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is an excellent example of an eminently useable supercar, with a timeless ‘triple black’ colour scheme, low mileage and desirable options. A great choice for a thrilling daily driver, this 991 would also make a wonderful road trip companion – particularly if touring warmer climates.
