This BMW X5 M is a high-performance SUV that combines a deeply impressive powertrain, fine dynamics, and everyday practicality. The tester noted a deteriorated CV joint rubber boot on the nearside front drive shaft, and some pitting of the front brake discs. Throttle response manages to feel at once perfectly clean, wonderfully savage and progressive and linear”.
