This 2014 Porsche Panamera GTS is an excellent example of the high-performance super saloon, presented in a crisp Pure White finish and with a comprehensive maintenance history. Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 4.8-litre V8 engine, producing 434bhp and 383lb-ft of torque, coupled with a seven-speed PDK paddle shift transmission. The Panamera GTS will pull from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds, will push on to 178mph, and also boasts adaptive air suspension and three-stage electronic dampers. The odometer currently indicates 47,450 miles from new.
First registered in March 2014, this Panamera has been in the vendor’s possession for one year, with three previous keepers before that. The vendor acquired the car from well-known PR chief Sean Roberts, who was instrumental in the historic Rothmans Porsche partnership.
The body of this Panamera GTS presents with flush shut lines and a smooth and even finish for the Pure White paintwork, though the vendor has reported a number of blemishes commensurate with the car’s mileage. Some stone chips are visible on the lower front valance and bonnet, while there are some scratches to the nearside wing mirror cover and a narrow scuff on the nearside front bumper. The car rides on black five-spoke 20-inch Sport Classic alloy wheels, which present in superb order thanks to a recent refurbishment through Porsche Centre Leeds.
Moving inside, the seats are trimmed with black leather and Alcantara upholstery, featuring red stitching and the GTS logo embossed on the headrests. The vendor has reported some minor creasing to the upholstery, though notes no discolouration or damage is present. The car comes with a range of desirable factory features, including LED headlights with the PDLS+ system, PCM with TV tuner and Bose surround sound, and soft close doors. The only fault reported is that the vertical steering wheel adjustment function is not currently working, though the vendor plans to investigate and resolve this issue ready for the new owner.
The last service was undertaken in January 2020 at 43,567 miles by the Porsche Centre in Leeds, where technicians changed the engine oil and filter, transmission oil and filter, brake fluid, and spark plugs. The vendor notes the car has also undergone a full 111-point warranty inspection during his ownership.
In February 2018, Porsche Centre in East London replaced the engine oil and filter and brake fluid, as well as the particle filter replacement, and carried out a full visual inspection of the underbody, brake lines, tie rods, drive shafts, steering, and fuel lines. Prior to this, its first service was in March 2016 at Porsche Centre Tonbridge.
The most recent MOT test was on 5 June 2020 at 45,154 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories, though the vendor notes that the front brake discs and pads will need replacement fairly soon.
The vehicle rides on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres all round. The vendor notes that all tyres were fitted less than a year ago and have between 4mm and 5mm of tread remaining.
Accompanying the vehicle are the original handbooks and stamped service book, along with records of service campaigns, all individual receipts from the current and previous owner, as well as the full, original toolkit.
This Porsche Panamera GTS is a hugely capable super saloon, capable of transporting four and their luggage in comfort, whether that is for a short weekend away or a road trip adventure further afield. Boasting impressive pace, tidy handling, and excellent refinement, this Panamera GTS is an exciting modern performance car, whether used as an occasional tourer or a sophisticated daily driver.
