This Porsche 911 (991) Carrera 4S Targa is a fantastic, low-mileage example of a stylish and capable four-wheel-drive sports car, presented in a handsome factory colour combination and with the sophisticated retractable Targa top. Under the rear engine cover is the 395bhp 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, coupled to the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The odometer shows just 9,963 miles from new.

First registered on 6 November 2014, its log book shows just one previous registered keeper, and it is now being sold on behalf of its current owner, who acquired it five years ago.

As you might expect for a car of this age and mileage, the bodywork is in outstanding condition, and while there is a small circular dent on the offside rear wing, this is genuinely very minor. The fetching Dark Blue Metallic paintwork presents very well, with a deep and glossy appearance across its entire surface, with only a few imperfections, including minor stone chips to the bonnet and a scrape on the nearside mirror cover.

Providing open-air driving thrills, the retractable Targa top’s black fabric covering is clean and unmarked, without any tears or scuffs. The light lenses and rubber seals are all in good order and the curved rear glass is in great shape, though there are some small stone chips visible on the front screen.

The car rides on a set of Porsche’s 20-inch five-spoke ‘SportTechno’ alloy wheels, all of which have a small amount of kerb scratching and would benefit from refurbishment to bring them up to as-new condition. They are fitted with the optional coloured Porsche crest centre caps, and house the standard brake discs gripped by red painted calipers.

Looking to the interior, two-tone Platinum Grey and black leather covers most of the cabin’s surfaces, providing an attractive contrast with the body colour. Throughout the cabin, the trim and upholstery are in excellent condition, with the leather seats, door cards and central armrest presenting with minimal wear, as they should in such a low-mileage example.

The aluminium trim inlaid into the dashboard and door cards is also very smart and free of scratches, and the optional SportDesign steering wheel retains its smooth, satin finish. Factory-fitted features include the Porsche Communication Management touch-screen infotainment and satellite navigation system, rear parking sensors and a high-end Bose surround-sound system. All of the cabin’s switchgear and electrical items function without fault.

Its last scheduled maintenance was in January 2019 at 9,458 miles, carried out by Porsche Centre Swindon. A major maintenance service, this included an engine oil change, replacement of the spark plugs and brake fluid, and a drive belt check. Prior to this, Porsche Centre Reading performed an intermediate oil change service in November 2016 at 7,523 miles.

The most recent MOT test was on 28 November 2019 at 9,762 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories whatsoever. All four wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres, which are described as being in excellent condition. Three are the original items and have between 4-5.5mm of tread remaining, while one was replaced in 2018 and has 6.5mm of usable tread.

Accompanying the car is its complete book pack, including the owner’s handbook and stamped service record. The seller is also including a Porsche car cover, and the original tools and warning triangle are still present.
