2013 PORSCHE 911 (991) CARRERA S CABRIOLET

This Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet is a low-mileage open-top sports car presented in superb condition, and with the desirable Sport Chrono package. It is powered by the 394bhp 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, with rear-wheel-drive via the seven-speed PDK automatic transmission. The odometer shows just 19,249 miles from new.

It was first registered in November 2013, supplied by Porsche Centre Silverstone to the first owner. There are three previous registered keepers on the log book, and the most recent private owner had the car for around three years. The car is now offered by the trade.

The bodywork presents in excellent condition, with sound shut lines and with no damage on any panels. Its paint finish has an impressive appearance, with only some minor stone chips at the front end. The black fabric hood opens and shuts as it should, and the material itself is in great shape with no damage, fitting snugly over the frame and windows.

The plastic front bumper lip and rear exhaust surround are in good order, and the light lenses are free of cracks and chips. It sits on the original 20-inch Carrera S alloy wheels, which are finished in gloss black with coloured Porsche crests. Standard brake discs are fitted, accented by red painted calipers.

In the cabin, the electrically adjustable hard-shell Sport Seats Plus are upholstered in full black leather, with double stitching, and three-stage heating. There is some visible wear on the driver’s seat bolster from use, but otherwise the interior trim presents very well indeed. Ahead of the driver is a multi-function heated steering wheel with gear shift buttons. The dashboard and door tops feature extended leather to match the seats.

Factory-fitted features include the Sport Chrono package, dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, and PCM 3 with touch-screen satellite navigation, Bluetooth and DAB digital radio. All of the switchgear and electrics work perfectly. The seller reports only that there is an occasional slight creaking noise of unknown origin coming from the driver’s side of the dashboard area.

The car has been serviced exclusively by main dealers from new, with its last visit being in November 2019 at 18,077 miles. Porsche Centre Reading carried out intermediate maintenance and also replaced the auxiliary drive belt.

Prior to this, it was given a major service by Porsche Centre Reading in November 2017 at 16,684 miles, and intermediate maintenance by Porsche Centre Silverstone at 10,510 miles in July 2015.

The most recent MOT test was on 26 November 2019 at 18,932 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. The alloys are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres in size 245/35 ZR20 at the front and 295/30 ZR20 at the rear. The nearside rear tyre has around 5mm of tread and some minor cracking at the edge of the tread. The other tyres are all in great shape, with around 6mm of tread remaining.

Accompanying the car is a complete book pack, including the driver’s manual, user guides, and the stamped guarantee and maintenance record. The original tools, towing eye, locking wheel nut, and tyre sealing kit are also present.

This Porsche 991 Carrera S Cabriolet is a superb example of a contemporary open-top 911, which was specified with a number of desirable factory options, and is presented in a smart colour scheme. It has a comprehensive OPC service history, and is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. While it could be kept as a low-mileage car and savoured only on sunny weekends or road trips, it is equally well-suited to more regular daily driver duties if the next owner so desires.
