2012 PORSCHE CAYENNE TURBO

This 2012 Porsche Cayenne Turbo is a clean example of the marque’s second-generation SUV, boasting a high factory specification and a sleek Jet Black Metallic finish. Under the bonnet sits a 4.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 493bhp, coupled with Porsche’s eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates 86,300 miles from new.

First registered in July 2012, this Porsche Cayenne has been in the vendor’s possession for nearly two years, and has just one previous keeper on the log book.

The bodywork of this Cayenne is reported to be in excellent condition, with flush shut lines throughout. Its Jet Black Metallic paintwork is in very good order, presenting with only the occasional minor stone chip on the exterior trim, and a minor soft dent to the offside rear door, smaller than a 50p coin.

A matt carbon-fibre effect vinyl wrap covers the bonnet, front bumper and wing mirrors, as well as the roof spoiler and tailgate handle, which was fitted in 2012 to a high standard. The vendor reports that the paint underneath was in perfect condition when the wrap was applied. It rides on 18-inch 10-arm twin-spoke alloy wheels, while the red brake callipers provide a dash of colour to the exterior.

Moving inside, this Cayenne is trimmed with black leather, which appears with some age-related wear to the bolsters but otherwise remains in good condition. The car comes equipped with Porsche’s carbon interior pack, which presents free of any major scratches, while the dashboard switches and driver controls also appear with minimal wear.

As standard, this generation of Cayenne came with dual-zone climate control, eight-way electrically adjustable front seats and cruise control, all of which are reported to work as they should. There is a custom-made analogue clock fitted to the top of the dashboard, finished in Guards Red to match the instrument gauge backings. In addition, the car features the optional Bose audio upgrade package featuring higher quality speakers and a bass module located in the floor of the boot.

This Cayenne comes with an extended 24-month Porsche assistance programme and warranty, which is due to expire in February 2021. The last service was undertaken in February 2019 at 78,199, where technicians at the Porsche Centre West London carried out a full 111-point check as part of the routine maintenance and warranty process, as well as an engine oil and filter change, with fresh brake fluid and spark plugs.

Prior to this, in January 2019 at 77,608 miles, Porsche specialist Design 911 in Brentwood fitted new brake discs and pads all round, along with new sensors. In February 2017 at 61,987 miles, the Porsche Centre Hatfield carried out an intermediate service, oil and filter change, and renewed the brake fluid.

The most recent MOT test was on 8 January 2020 at 83,441 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The wheels are wrapped with Pirelli P Zero tyres all round in correct fitment 295/35/R21, which were fitted in February 2019 alongside four AlloyGator wheel protectors.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original handbooks and stamped service record, along with numerous receipts, and proof of the extended Porsche warranty.

This Porsche Cayenne Turbo is a practical high-performance SUV, which has been used as intended but remains in very good condition. Combining impressive practicality and comfort with the outright pace of a sports car, this Cayenne Turbo would make a highly usable all-rounder as family transport.
