This 2012 Porsche 911 (991) Carrera S Cabriolet is an exhilarating yet practical drop-top sports car, presented in excellent overall condition with comprehensive main dealer history. Powered by a 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine, which produces 394bhp and is linked to a seven-speed PDK automatic transmission, the Carrera S can be launched from 0-60 in just 4.4 seconds. The odometer currently indicates 51,551 miles from new.

First registered in November 2012, the vehicle’s log book shows two previous registered keepers, and it has been in the vendor’s possession for six years. During this time it has been serviced exclusively at Porsche Centre Bournemouth every two years.

The exterior of the car is in superb condition, presenting no evidence of any panel damage. The vehicle’s factory paintwork is black, though it has been tastefully wrapped in Sapphire Blue to a very high standard. The wrap presents in excellent condition, with only a handful of minor blemishes present, as can be seen in the photo gallery. The soft top roof remains clean and tidy, and the mechanism works perfectly. The vehicle rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, which sit in front of red brake calipers, and which have no kerbing damage.

The interior also remains in good condition, with the driver noting only some minor wear to the driver’s bolster, perfectly commensurate with the age and mileage. The dashboard and interior switches present without any scratches or scuffs, and the driver reports no issues with any controls or electrics.

The vendor notes the vehicle is currently being serviced, and prior to this, the vehicle was seen in September 2018, March 2016 and November 2014 by the official Porsche Centre in Bournemouth. The vendor notes the only other work done to the car during their custody has been routine maintenance, with the car presenting no reliability issues.

The most recent MOT test was on 2 April 2019 at 47,382 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. This MOT was granted a six-month extension due to the Covid-19 pandemic and is now valid until 1 October 2020, though the vendor notes the vehicle will be handed over with a fresh 12-month certificate.

The vehicle sits on Pirelli P Zero tyres, which were fitted in 2016 and appear in good condition all round. Accompanying the car are the original Porsche handbooks, including the stamped service book.

This Porsche 991 Carrera S Cabriolet is a wonderful all-rounder, boasting seriously impressive pace and enough practicality and comfort to be used as a daily driver. The next owner could choose to keep it in the vibrant blue wrap hue, or remove the coating to take it back to a smart black-on-black aesthetic. With comprehensive main dealer maintenance history, this 911 should prove to be an eminently reliable and enjoyable convertible sports car.
