2011 PORSCHE 911 (991) CARRERA S

This Porsche 911 Carrera S is a very smart example of an immensely capable and exciting sports car, boasting a great factory specification and genuine low mileage. It is powered by the 394bhp 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, with rear-wheel-drive via the seven-speed PDK automatic transmission. The odometer shows 31,790 miles from new.

Presented in discreet Basalt Black paintwork, it has a full Platinum Grey interior, with high-grade leather upholstery throughout. It is also fitted with Power Steering Plus, and the Porsche Active Suspension Management damping system. The car was first registered in December 2011, and is understood to have first been owned and used by Porsche Centre Colchester as a demonstrator. There is just one previous private keeper after this, and the car is now offered by the trade to another enthusiast.

The bodywork remains in superb condition, with no accident damage or dents on any panels. The paint is also in great shape, with only some light stone chips at the front, and very small scuffs to the door edges. The seller also notes some minor damage to the front plastic lip spoiler, and a chip on the windscreen, which is clearly shown in the photos below. Paint protection film remains on the wings ahead of the rear wheels.

All of the light lenses are in good order with no chips or cracks in the casings, and the body trims and badges are all present and correct. The car rides on the original 20-inch silver Carrera S alloy wheels, which remain in excellent condition. Standard brake discs are fitted, accented by red painted calipers.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in full Platinum Grey leather, which extends to the door cards. There are signs of light use, some wear to the driver's seat bolster, and a few small nicks to the back of the driver’s seat - all of which are visible in the photo gallery. The plastic sill kick plate is also scuffed from entry and exit to the cabin.

The electrically adjustable Sport seats have perforated centre panels, double stitching, and three-stage heating, and there are memory settings on the driver’s side. Ahead of the driver is a multi-function steering wheel with gear shift buttons. The headlining and roof pillars are trimmed with synthetic suede.

Factory-fitted features include dual-zone climate control, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, the Light Design Package, and automatic bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System. There is also an electric sunroof, PCM 3 with touch-screen satellite navigation, Bluetooth and phone preparation, the BOSE surround-sound system, and HomeLink with the garage door opener function.

Its last scheduled maintenance was in February 2020 at 31,790 miles, carried out by Porsche specialist Dove House Motor Company in Northamptonshire. It consisted of a major service, incorporating renewal of the engine oil and filter, as well as air filters, spark plugs, and fresh brake fluid.

Prior to this, it was seen and serviced by Porsche Centre Colchester, in February 2018 at 28,268 miles, in January 2016 at 21,466 miles, and in December 2013 at 12,725 miles.

The most recent MOT test was on 27 November 2019 at 31,452 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories. In fact, the car boasts exemplary MOT history, and has never failed a test. The alloys are shod in a set of Pirelli P Zero tyres in size 245/35 ZR20 at the front and 295/30 ZR20 at the rear. The front tyres are date-coded to 2016 and have around 6mm of tread remaining, while the rears were manufactured in 2017 and have approximately 5mm left.

Accompanying the car is a complete book pack, including the driver’s manual, user guides, and the stamped guarantee and maintenance record. The original tools, towing eye, and locking wheel nut are also present.

This Porsche 991 Carrera S is a wonderful sports car, which boasts an appealing specification and desirable options. It has evidently been cherished over the last eight years, and is presented in excellent condition today. Fresh from a major service in February 2020, this car is as well-suited to daily driver duties as it is to being kept and savoured on sunny weekends.
