2010 BMW (E93) 335i M SPORT CONVERTIBLE

This BMW 335i M Sport is a stylish and entertaining convertible, benefiting from main dealer service history, low mileage and an optional BMW Performance 'Power Kit' software upgrade. Under the bonnet is a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged straight-six, uprated to around 320bhp, coupled to a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shift. The odometer reads 33,100 miles.

First registered on 26 February 2010, this 335i is an original UK-market car, which has five previous registered keepers on the log book. It is understood to have been in the same family ownership for the last seven years, though there was a change of registered keeper in August 2019.

The convertible E93 offering was the first 3 Series to use a retractable metal hardtop, with the 335i being the pinnacle of the non-M model range.

Wearing the smart BMW finish of Titanium Silver, this elegant convertible presents in good condition, with only a light dusting of stone chips to the front end of the vehicle, and another on the roof. The front and rear light lenses are in good order, and the badging and trim presents well.

Two of the Alpina quad-spoke five-arm alloy wheels have kerbing marks, which could be easily rectified with wheel refurbishment. These upgraded wheels were fitted during the current ownership, supplied by a BMW main dealer.

Moving inside, the cabin is upholstered with black Dakota leather throughout, with silver dashboard trim accents. The switchgear, steering wheel and gearstick present in excellent condition. The electrically-powered retractable hard top operates as it should, giving this 335i year-round practicality and comfort. The vendor reports that there are no warning lights on the dashboard, and that all electrical equipment is in full working order.

Each of the 335i’s services has been carried out by Sytner BMW Sheffield, with the latest oil service and brake fluid replacement carried out on 8 August 2020 at 32,950 miles. Prior to this, services were carried out in August 2017 and in April 2014 by the same dealer. The previously-mentioned Alpina alloy wheels and BMW Performance 'Power Kit' software update were retrofitted by the dealer during the current vendor’s ownership.

The most recent MOT test was on 1 May 2019 at 32,380 miles. This resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. The next MOT is not due until 10 November 2020 thanks to the COVID-19 six-month MOT extension programme.

New Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres were fitted at 28,000 miles, in the correct fitment of 225/35/ZR19 front and 275/30/ZR19 rear. These are in good condition with approximately 6mm of tread.

This subtle performance convertible will reach its next owner with its full complement of original BMW handbooks, supporting service history and historical invoices, as well as the original tool kit.

Combining understated design with exceptional performance, this 335i M Sport Convertible has been kept in very good condition, and boasts low mileage for its age. It would be perfect for long-distance road trips in warm and sunny climates, but could also readily be put into service as an exciting daily driver.
