2008 PORSCHE CAYENNE TURBO S

This 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is a great example of the marque’s rare flagship performance SUV, finished in a classic black-over-black colour combination. Powered by a 4.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 542bhp coupled to a six-speed Tiptronic transmission, this example shows 73,370 miles on the odometer.

First registered in September 2008 and showing four previous keepers on the V5C, the vehicle has been owned by the vendor for the last three years, during which time it has proven to be a faithful and versatile vehicle. It boasts an impressive standard specification, not to mention some desirable options.

The metallic Pearl Black paintwork is in great condition, with only a light smattering of stone chips across the front end and usual surfaces, which are commensurate with the age and mileage. There are also a few tiny dents on the vehicle, one below the ’S’ on the rear badging and the other below the offside door mirror. The wheels are upgraded ‘Turbo II’ wheels from a later model complete with working TPMS sensors, which have some minor lacquer flaws on the diamond-cut faces. It is also equipped with the OEM Turbo S big brake kit.

The interior is in excellent condition throughout, showing only relatively modest wear and creasing of the upholstery. There are some small nicks and marks around the door cards and seat bases as you would expect, but overall the cabin presents very well indeed. Everything is working as intended, including the factory-fit Bose surround-sound system. Factory-fitted features included four-zone climate control, cruise control, heated front seats, PCM with navigation, and an electric sunroof. The front seats are also embossed with Porsche crests on the headrests.

The service record for this Cayenne is complete up until 64,000 miles, after which the vendor – who has a mechanical background and owns a race team – has serviced the car. The last service was carried out at 69,000 miles which comprised of a general fluid change. Prior to this, the vehicle was serviced at 62,537 miles in 2016 and at 52,954 miles in 2014, and this Cayenne has also received a full set of new brake pads during the vendor’s ownership. There are no known faults with the vehicle, and it is reported to drive very well.

The most recent MOT test was carried out on 16 March 2021 resulting in a pass with no defects or problems, though the test centre noted that the presence of factory-fitted engine covers and under-trays. All tyres have between 5mm and 6mm of tread.

Included with the sale are a number of invoices and documents relating to work carried out, the Porsche service book, handbooks and other official Porsche literature. The full factory toolkit is also included.
