This E92 BMW M3 represents a great opportunity to experience one of the most dynamic models ever to wear the badge, and the only one to be fitted with a V8 engine. Offered with very low mileage and in pin sharp Alpine White paintwork, this desirable example combines legendary M-car handling dynamics with up to 414bhp, transferred to the rear wheels via the seven-speed Getrag M Dual-Clutch Transmission with paddle shift.

First registered on 29 September 2008, this M3 now shows just 14,139 miles on the odometer, and only one previous keeper on the V5C log book. The vendor has owned the car for the last four months.

The Alpine White paint helps to accentuate the aggressive coupe lines of this generation of M3, reported to be in excellent and original condition with no known body imperfections. Designed to lower the car’s centre-of-gravity, the carbon-fibre roof is a particularly attractive and functional feature. The detailed photos below show the bodywork trim and light lenses all in superb order, with no visible wear or damage. The original 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are again in great shape, free of kerbing grazes or other marks.

The interior trim matches to the high standards of the exterior, with the original black leather retaining a factory fresh matt finish, with no unsightly wear or discolouration, and only a small scratch noted on the driver’s seat. Contact points such as the steering wheel rim and gear lever remain in excellent condition, as does all of the switchgear. Specified with heated electric memory seats, cruise control, rear parking sensors and the Professional Media system, the vendor states that all features and controls work without fault.

The most recent maintenance was a full service carried out in August 2020. The vendor reports the car has only had two previous services while in the custody of its first owner, though this is not too surprising given the very sparing use.

The most recent MOT test was on 8 June 2020 at 11,288 miles, with a first-time pass and no advisories. The online MOT history shows mileage being accrued sparingly over the past decade, and also indicates that it was kept off the road between 2017 and early 2020. The tyres currently fitted are Michelin Pilot Sport items on the front axle and Continental SportContact tyres on the rear.

The M3 retains its original BMW M owner’s wallet, housing the service record and user guides. Both keys are also included.
