2007 PORSCHE 911 (997) TURBO

This Porsche 997 Turbo is a thrilling all-season supercar, with a particularly handsome factory specification, which presents in very good condition. It is powered by the 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged ‘Mezger’ flat-six producing 480bhp and 457lb-ft of torque, with permanent four-wheel drive transmitted via a five-speed Tiptronic S gearbox. The odometer shows 81,800km.

Introduced at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the 997-generation 911 Turbo was 41kg lighter than the 996 model. It was the first Porsche production car to feature two BorgWarner variable turbine geometry turbochargers which gave it incredible performance.

First registered in March 2007, this 997 Turbo was supplied to Italy and sold via Porsche Haus Srl in Milan. There are only two previous owners, and the vendor acquired the car in early 2021.

Finished in the smart Midnight Blue metallic hue, the bodywork of this 911 is in good condition, with no signs of any previous accident damage. There are a few small scuffs under the plastic front splitter - which is easily replaced - but in general the car looks superb. Its front end is in great shape, and the paint protection film is still in place ahead of the rear wheels. All four original 19-inch wheels appear pristine - though the centre caps have some minor imperfections.

Complementing the outside beautifully, the cabin is trimmed in sumptuous tan leather, extending across the top of the dashboard and door cards. All four seats show some modest wear from use, but there is no significant discolouration, and certainly no rips or tears. Tan leather also adorns the steering wheel rim, gear shifter, and the handbrake lever; and the car was specified with the optional leather trim for the sun visors, centre console, steering column, and roof-mounted interior light surround. Overall, the interior is also in excellent condition, and there are no known electrical faults.

Its last scheduled maintenance was in October 2016 at 68,095km, which was an engine oil and filter change. While the car is overdue for another service, the vendor states that it is running and driving very well, with no known faults. Previous known services were carried out in August 2012 at 30,159km and in May 2010 at 9,931km. Its Pirelli P Zero tyres are reported to be in virtually as-new condition, and appear to be date-coded to 2020.

Accompanying the car is the original set of books, including the stamped maintenance record and the driver’s handbook.

This Porsche 997 Turbo is an original Italian-market car, with a rare factory colour combination, and an impressive specification including desirable extended leather options. It is offered in excellent condition throughout, and would make a fine road trip companion, or a great ‘daily driver’ supercar.
