2007 BMW Z4 M COUPE

This BMW Z4 M Coupe is a coveted modern classic and an exciting sports coupe, finished in a stunning factory colour. Under the bonnet is a 338bhp 3.2-litre straight-six S54 engine, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows 84,899 miles from new.

First registered in March 2007, this car was specified in the rare hue of Ruby Black Metallic, which has a stunning deep red tint when viewed in full sun. There are five previous registered keepers on the log book, and the current owner acquired the car four years ago.

The bodywork appears to be in excellent condition, with good shut lines and consistent panel gaps all around the car. Its Ruby Black paint is generally smart, with only a few imperfections. There are stone chips around the front bumper and nose, a scuff on the nearside door mirror, and a mark on the rear bumper from an item being unloaded. All of the light lenses are in great shape, and all of the exterior trim is present and correct - though some of the plastic and seals have faded very slightly. The wheels have been changed to genuine 19-inch BMW MV4 alloys, which are in very good order with only a few very minor blemishes.

In the cabin, deep red tint in the paint is complemented by the burgundy leather trim for the electrically adjustable sport seats. The leather wears the mileage well, with some creases from use and small scuffs on both outer bolsters. There is some noticeable wear and discolouration around one section of the steering wheel, but the interior remains entirely original, even down to the BMW radio and CD player. The factory-fitted equipment includes heated seats and satellite navigation.

The car has been driven sparingly over the last two years, which is one reason why the seller is offering it to another enthusiast to enjoy. Its last scheduled maintenance took place in August 2018 at 84,417 miles, carried out by Dick Lovett BMW in Swindon. As well as a full oil service, the battery and one xenon headlight were replaced, and the car received new front brake calipers, brake pipes and brake fluid. The car has covered less than 600 miles since then.

Prior to this, the most recent services were in November 2015 and February 2014. The seller reports that it has recently had new brake discs all round, fitted by Wellsway BMW in Bath.

Its last MOT test was carried out on 29 November 2019 at 84,590 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. The wheels are fitted with Bridgestone Potenza tyres all round, which the seller states are in good condition. The rear tyres are date-coded to 2016, so have covered less than 3,000 miles. Accompanying the car are all of the original books, including the stamped maintenance record.

This BMW Z4 M Coupe is a thrilling sports coupe, which is presented in very good order, and with a solid maintenance history. While it would benefit from a service on time rather than mileage, this modern classic needs nothing before taking to the road to experience its intoxicating performance.
