KEY FACTS

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• This E46-generation M3 is finished with Carbon Black paintwork, with a black convertible hood and a red leather-trimmed interior.
• Equipment includes heated and electrically adjustable front seats with memory function for the driver, climate control, bi-xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, cruise control, a premium Harman Kardon sound system.
• It rides on the correct set of 19-inch diamond-cut ‘Style 67’ alloy wheels, which have recently been refurbished and are in superb order.
• The car’s only modifications are the CSL-style splitters fitted to the front bumper and its smoked front indicators.
• This M3 will be accompanied by all of its original handbooks and its stamped service book, as well as its full tool kit, first aid kit, torch and two keys.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• The Carbon Black paintwork has been partly or fully resprayed in the past, and is in excellent overall condition, with only a few light stone chips on the car’s nose and door mirror caps, as well as a very minor blemish on the centre of the rear bumper.
• Inside, the cabin features its original red leather upholstery and trim, and presents very well given the car’s age and mileage, with some general creasing on the front seat bolsters, marks around the door handles, wear and scratches on the front arm rest and wear on the centre console’s soft-touch coating.
• The vendor notes that there are a few dead pixels on the satellite navigation unit’s screen, but otherwise there are no known electrical or mechanical issues with the vehicle.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 3 April 2021 at 86,715 miles, resulting in a first-time pass, with advisories noting wear on the edges of both rear tyres and little remaining tread on the front tyres, however all four have since been replaced.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This M3’s most recent routine maintenance was an oil service and health check, which was carried out in June 2020 at 85,815 miles by main dealer Sytner BMW Newport.
• Prior to this, Barretts BMW performed an oil service and replaced the micro-filter in July 2018 at 82,083 miles, and BMW specialist Mo Tech carried out an Inspection II service in January 2017 at 79,498 miles.
• During the seller’s time with the car they have also replaced all four tyres with new Bridgestone S001 items, had all four alloy wheels refurbished and fitted new MTEC front brake discs and EBC Ultimax pads.
