EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 550 Spyder, every example of this limited-run special edition is finished in GT Silver metallic with a matching centre console, seat backs and roll-over bars.
• A factory power upgrade saw the special edition Boxster S output climb to 266bhp.
• Additional features include 10mm lowered sports suspension, 5mm wheel spacers, a short-shift gear change, air-conditioning, PSM, Litronic xenon headlamps and heated sport seats.
• This car has been fitted with a Cargraphic sports exhaust system to enhance its flat-six soundtrack. The original back box with the Anniversary chrome exhaust tip is included in the sale, but requires welding if the next owner wishes to refit it.
• Accompanying the car are all of the original books, including the stamped maintenance record showing 12 stamps, plus a raft of receipts. A tyre inflator and puncture repair fluid are present, though there is no spare wheel or jack.

CONDITION

• The GT Silver paintwork is in good condition overall, with small stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet, plus a scratch on the boot lid and one on the driver’s door. Porsche specialist Cridfords previously carried out a respray of the rear bumper in 2012.
• All four wheels have also been refurbished and are now in superb order.
• The black leather upholstery arguably belies the mileage, with some creasing and general signs of use, but no heavy wear or damage to the sport seats.
• The vendor reports some chips to the painted centre console due to the seat belt catching it, and there is slight wear to the steering wheel and gear knob as you would expect, but overall the cabin presents smartly.
• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults.
• The most recent MOT test was on 28 April 2021 at 110,581 miles, which was a clean pass after the registration plates were changed to regulation spacing and the offside tail light was fixed.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The last scheduled maintenance was in November 2020 at 110,500 miles, when HD Porsche in Cranleigh renewed the engine oil and filter, pollen filter, exhaust clamps, and gearbox oil.
• Prior recent services were in June 2019 at 108,035 miles and in June 2018 at 104,961 miles. A new alternator was also installed in 2019 at around 108,000 miles, and new front Continental N2-rated tyres were fitted during the 2018 service.
• Other notable replacement items include new air-conditioning condensers and a re-gas in April 2021; a new air/oil breather plus rear drop links and bushes in 2017; a new water pump and auxiliary drive belt in 2016 at 94,000 miles.
• The front and rear brake discs and pads were replaced in 2016 at 91,000 miles, and a new clutch was fitted in 2013 at 76,000 miles.
• New rear Porsche N2-rated Continental tyres were fitted in 2019.
