2000 BMW Z3 M ROADSTER

This 2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster is an attractive and relatively low-mileage example of the firm’s distinctive sports car. Equipped with the ‘S50’ 3.2-litre straight-six from the E36 M3, this sonorous engine produces 316bhp and 260lb-ft of torque, controlled by a five-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential. The odometer reads 48,336 miles.

The M Roadster and M Coupe were the halo models of the Z3 range. Despite the latter’s radical styling, both cars shared common parts from the A-pillar forward, as well as the doors and various interior parts. First registered on 7 March 2000, this sporting roadster has been in the hands of the current vendor for the last seven years. It has evidently been stored off the road for around two years.

Wearing its original shade of Arctic Silver metallic, this M Roadster presents in generally good condition with an even shine throughout. There are some scratches present on the wing mirrors and the front and rear bumpers, as well as other minor imperfections and stone chips around the lower body. The front number plate has also been cracked by a stone chip, and the seller some small dents in the nearside rear wing and the bonnet.

The most recent service was carried out in July 2020 at 48,336 miles by BMW specialist Munich Legends. This entailed repair and replacement of seals on the soft top roof, as well as remedying a passenger airbag fault and fitting a new battery. Prior to this, an Inspection I service was carried out in 2016 by BMW Park Lane of London, and in 2013, the engine’s VANOS system was completely refurbished at around 43,000 miles.

It will of course require a fresh 12-month certificate before being taken on the road again. The wheels are shod in Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round, which the seller states are in good order.

A soft top roof cover along with a bespoke car cover will be included, in addition to the tyre compressor in the boot.
