• This is a matching numbers car maintained in original factory specification. Hi-flow mufflers have been fitted to the car and some interior refurbishment has been completed.
• The factory steering wheel has been re-trimmed with correct M-coloured stitching, a brand new OEM gear knob and boot with light-up M pattern has been installed, and there are new factory floor mats. The LCD dash display and bulbs were replaced and the infotainment system has been updated with satellite navigation, Bluetooth audio and hands-free phone integration.
• Sold with all original tools, manuals and books including a stamped service log book and receipts for recent works. Original parts are included in the sale where items have been updated or refurbished.

CONDITION

• Bodywork is in generally very good condition. There is no known significant damage, though there is a small hairline crack and minor scrape in the front bumper by the passenger side headlamp, and the under-tray is cracked on the front passenger side.
• The alloy wheels were treated to a professional refurbishment in the correct Shadow Chrome finish and the headlights were recently replaced with factory European specification Hella ‘Angel Eye’ xenon lights.
• The Oxford Green Metallic paintwork is in good condition, benefitting from a paint correction completed with ceramic paint protection. There is a small nick in the rear bumper on the passenger side and a few stone chips on the bonnet, commensurate with the car’s age and originality.
• Inside, upholstery and trim is original and in very good condition, benefitting from a two-stage leather rejuvenation. Seats, linings and trim have been very well maintained. There is some minor bubbling to be found in the silver trim around the gear lever.
• The M5 is mechanically sound and electronics, controls and gauges are in working order.
• The most recent roadworthiness test was completed on 14 March 2021 and the car passed without issue.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Bavarian Engineering recently serviced the car at 169,000 km, changing fluids and filters and replacing the front suspension radius rods and bushes.
• At 160,430 km, the engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, air filter and VANOS solenoid o-rings were replaced.
• At 153,615 km, the engine oil, brake fluid, coolant and microfilter were renewed.
• The brake pads and tyres have also been replaced in recent years.
