• The car has the staggered fitment alloy wheels, with 225/45 R17 tyres at the front and 245/40 R17 at the rear.
• Modifications include a Pipercross air intake and Samco engine strut brace, and inside the car is a retrofit touch-screen media system with a custom-built speaker enclosure in the boot, plus a ‘surround view’ camera system. The original air box is included should the next owner wish to remove the Pipercross upgrade.

CONDITION

• No known body damage.
• The Techno Violet paintwork is in good condition, showing a minor scuff on the corner of the black offside front splitter, and only small superficial imperfections elsewhere as shown in the gallery.
• Inside, the Light Grey leather interior is in good order, with slight creasing and surface marks, but it has been re-connolised to enhance the appearance.
• All of the electrics work as they should, and there are no warning lights.
• The most recent MOT test was on 1 August 2020 at 81,042 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• It was last serviced in July 2020 at 81,010 miles by Y Nadat Ltd in London, which included an engine oil service and brake check. Prior to this, Y Nadat Ltd also saw the car in June 2019 at 80,543 miles for an oil and filter change, and in December 2018 at 79,421 miles.
• The SMG pump was replaced with a reconditioned unit in March 2019 at Highams Park Motor Co, and its VANOS system was refurbished by Mr Vanos in October 2017 at 75,660 miles.
• Information received from BMW shows more than 20 main agent visits from 1999 through to 2007, and the car has plenty of recent documented maintenance work as illustrated above - including the significant attention to the SMG pump and VANOS system.

SUMMARY

This BMW M3 Evolution Convertible is a striking modern classic, which presents very well and is in excellent mechanical order thanks to frequent servicing, and attention to both the SMG and VANOS systems. While there are a few subtle and reversible modifications, it remains largely original and comes complete with its factory hard top, making it a compelling choice for a summer cruiser whatever the weather.
