EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The Carrera 4S has the wider body from the 911 Turbo of the era, and as a late model year car, it is fitted with the VarioRam engine. It is one of just 1,752 examples of the Carrera 4S built for the US market.
• This particular car was delivered new to a collector in Puerto Rico, and featured some special order options via the Porsche Exclusive program. Finished in Speed Yellow, the car also has the sought-after sport seats with color-coded seat backs, upholstered in black leather. There are also matching yellow seat belts.
• The car was also ordered with the desirable factory Aerokit, including front and rear spoilers.
• It was specified with the stainless steel exhaust tail pipes and door entry guards, colored Porsche crest centre caps for the wheels, alu-look instrument dials, and a leather dashboard and door panels. The car also has the engine sound package, cruise control, air conditioning, sunroof, and the CDR-210 stereo.

CONDITION

• There is no bodywork damage whatsoever; the car retains all original factory panels.
• In May 2021, famed detailer Larry Kosilla from AMMO carried out a complete exterior detail service. Furthermore, this work was documented for his own YouTube channel, and is shown in this listing. As you would expect, the Speed Yellow finish now presents in outstanding condition.
• Kosilla also treated the front seat leather to some light cleaning and reconditioning, and of course the interior is also pristine. There are the slightest signs of use in line with the very low mileage, but no significant wear or discoloration.
• No electrical faults have been detected.

SERVICE HISTORY

• In May 2021, this 993 C4S was treated to a full recommissioning service at 1,125 miles by Speed Sport Tuning in Danbury, CT. This included renewal of the engine oil and filters, top-up of all fluids, fuel injector cleaner, a new fuel filter, fuel pump and pump relay.
• A full inspection was carried out, with SST instructed to replace any components that had ‘aged out’. New lower valve covers and gaskets were installed, and the front ABS sensors and brake pad wear sensors were replaced, all due to age-related perishing rather than use.
• The front suspension struts were renewed due to seepage at the shaft seals, all four rubber brake hoses were replaced, and four new Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres were fitted due to aged rubber.
• Some early service history from Puerto Rico is on file, showing 640 miles on the odometer in February 1999 and 805 miles on the odometer in January 2000.
