• The car wears distinctive ‘Turbo Twist’ 18-inch alloy wheels and being a late model ‘S’ also benefits from the body and front apron of the flagship Turbo model. As a later modification, the addition of the colour-coded Turbo rear wing gives the car more aggressive road presence. The original engine cover is also included in the sale.
• An updated three-spoke steering wheel from the later 996 generation is a smart addition to the vehicle, again, with the original 993-specific item being included.
• The grey leather interior features matching embroidered carpets and electrically adjustable perforated leather seats. The car was also specified with a factory electric sunroof.
• Its cassette rack has been replaced with a cup holder insert, though the original rack is included.
• It is also equipped with an aftermarket Kenwood stereo CD player head unit.
• The car is supplied with its maintenance book and driver’s manual in leather bound case, tool kit, and a good history file including lots of invoices. Two sets of keys including duplicate alarm/immobiliser fobs are also present.

CONDITION

• The bodywork shows no sign of damage and the paintwork is in overall good condition.
• The vendor recently had the offside door resprayed, and in 2015 the bonnet and engine cover were both removed to have the scuttle panels treated with rust-prevention product.
• There are stone chips to the lower front areas, a light scuff on the rear bumper and minor scratches to the leading edge of the roof above the upper rear brake light. Slight scratching of the black paint to the offside sill protector is also evident.
• The grey leather interior is in excellent condition for its age, with the seats having slight wear commensurate with their use. The offside rear seat also has a small patch of discolouration.
• The 18-inch wheels are in very good overall condition, featuring coloured Porsche crest centre caps, and fitted with Bridgestone Potenza S-02 tyres. Some peeling of the black paint applied to the brake callipers is visible.
• The cigarette lighter does not work, though power is available to the socket. There are no other electrical faults.
• The vendor also reports that the air-conditioning system would benefit from a service.
• The most recent MOT test was conducted on 5 January 2021 at 132,487 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with a single advisory noting a minor oil leak. 

SERVICE HISTORY

• The most recent routine maintenance was conducted in July 2017, at 129,153 miles, by marque specialist Auto 2000, where an engine oil and filter change was conducted, and all fluids checked.
• Routine maintenance was also performed in May 2015 and September 2013 in accordance with the manufacturer’s service book requirements, again by Auto 2000.
• Under the stewardship of the current keeper, the car has benefited from an extensive programme of work, including a new alternator, exhaust boxes, full length undertray replacement, rear bumper supports, engine cam chain and cover seals, gearbox mount, cross member and suspension carrier, and a new VarioRam air duct.
