EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Finished in the appealing hue of Iris Blue Metallic over a Marble Grey leather and Midnight Blue interior, this 911 was specified with a sunroof, sports seats with electric height adjustment, a top-tinted windscreen and a rear wiper, for enhanced day-to-day usability.
• It rides on its original set of 17-inch ‘Cup II’ alloy wheels, which have previously been refurbished and are unmarked.
• This Carrera is almost entirely standard and unmodified, save for its aftermarket stereo and alarm/immobiliser, which is not in use as the key fobs have gone missing.
• It will be accompanied by its original handbook and stamped service book, as well as invoices for its past maintenance, all of its original tools and its spare wheel and air compressor/tyre inflator.

CONDITION

• No known body damage.
• Believed to be entirely original, the Iris Blue Metallic paintwork is described by the seller as being in excellent overall condition, with only a few minor age-related marks, including stone chips towards the front of a roof and another chip below the driver’s-side headlamp.
• There is some crazing on the rear plastic reflector strip.
• Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Marble Grey and Midnight Blue, and presents very well. While there is some light creasing on the seat bolsters, slight discolouration on the leather-wrapped automatic gear selector and marks on the footwell trim and carpet, this is commensurate with the car’s age and mileage.
• Although the electrically adjustable driver’s door mirror is not functioning, there are no other known electrical or mechanical issues.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 3 December 2020 at 71,036 miles, resulting in a first-time pass without a single warning or advisory.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This 993’s most recent routine maintenance was an oil and filter service, which was carried out in August 2019 at 70,301 miles by Porsche specialist Silvertune Cars.
• Prior to this, a minor service was performed in August 2018 at 69,128 miles when the brake fluid and cooling fan hub bearing were also changed.
• During their ownership, the seller has also had a number of mechanical components replaced to keep this iconic Porsche in good running order. These include the rear main oil seal, the top and bottom valve cover gasket seals, the timing chain and end-plate gaskets, the chain cover gaskets, the camshaft O-ring seals and the chain guide.
• Furthermore, the front transmission oil cooler pipes, heat shields, distributor caps, rotor arms, distributor driver belts and power steering drive belt have also been replaced, along with the handbrake shoes.
