KEY FACTS

• An excellent example of the rare 993-generation Carrera RS, presented in impressive overall condition and with very low mileage from new.
• Under the engine lid is the 296bhp 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, which drives the rear wheels through a six-speed G50/31 manual transmission.
• The car is an original right-hand drive ‘C16-code’ example, and is believed to be one of only 49 examples produced for the UK market.
• The odometer displays only 29,192 miles, supported by an outstanding service history.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• This Carrera RS left the factory finished in Polar Silver paintwork, and was specified with the more discreet ‘small spoiler pack’.
• The cabin is trimmed in black leather, and uniquely features a combination of the Recaro bucket seat for the driver and Porsche sport seat for the passenger, as ordered from the factory by the car’s first owner.
• Additional equipment includes a front strut brace, air conditioning, and the chassis was undersealed from the factory.
• It rides on its correct set of Speedline 18-inch split-rim alloy wheels, which feature silver-painted centres with polished rims, and are in great shape.
• The car is almost entirely unmodified, save for its more modern Becker Mexico radio / CD player, tracker system and RSR exhaust back boxes, though the original parts will also be supplied.
• This Carrera RS will be accompanied by all of its original handbooks including the rare Carrera RS supplement manual, as well as its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, invoices for its past maintenance, its toolkit, keys and immobiliser fobs.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• The Polar Silver paintwork is believed to be largely original and presents particularly well, with a few minor stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet, and light scratches along the flanks, in line with the car’s age and use.
• This RS’ black leather upholstery is in excellent condition for its age, with only modest signs of use.
• The car is in fine mechanical health, and there are no known issues with the switches or other electrical items, save for an intermittent fault with the horn.
• The air conditioning system works as it should, and has just been serviced.
• Its last MOT test was conducted on 17 June 2021 at 29,171 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with no warnings or defects noted.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This Carrera RS’ most recent routine maintenance was carried out in June 2021 at 29,171 miles by D&G Porsche Specialists, who performed a general oil and filter service, and inspected the car prior to its MOT test.
• Previously, D&G Porsche Specialists carried out a service in December 2019 at 28,801 miles, and Porsche Centre Sutton Coldfield performed a major service in April 2018 at 28,555 miles, including a spark plug change.
• During the seller’s ownership the limited-slip differential has also been rebuilt, the air conditioning system has been overhauled, the gearbox oil has been changed and the engine lid gas struts and heavy duty battery have been replaced.
