CONDITION

• Today, there is no bodywork damage, with the front offside wing having been replaced in 2008 by Porsche-approved body shop Kinghorn Aberdeen.
• Overall, the Aventurine Green finish is in very good order, though there is a light scuff on the front bumper, some minor stone chips on the nose and a scratch on the rear decklid. The seller notes that the front wings, bonnet and rear quarter panels were resprayed during the car’s refurbishment in 2019, and match the rest of the paintwork well.
• The exterior trim is very smart; however there is a crack in the rear reflector strip.
• Replaced in December 2016, the black convertible hood is in excellent condition, with no rips, tears or noticeable fading.
• Inside, the cabin is in great shape, with some general use-related creasing on the seats and slight wear on the leather-wrapped gear knob. The matching grey carpets are unmarked, having been replaced in December 2016.
• While the original Becker radio is not currently functioning, this is believed to be due to a blown fuse and should be relatively straightforward to rectify.
• Otherwise, there are no known electrical or mechanical faults.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 2 October 2020 at 97,647 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no warnings or advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This Carrera’s most recent routine maintenance was a major service and extensive refurbishment, which was carried out in March 2019 at 97,617 miles by Porsche specialist David Phillips Autos. This included replacement of the rocker covers and gaskets, the timing cover gaskets and the alternator belt tensioner bearing, as well as the clutch, the main rear oil seal, the rear top suspension arms and the rear brake discs. The engine oil and filters were then changed, along with the power steering fluid, spark plugs and ignition leads.
• Prior to this, the car was serviced in December 2017 at 91,262 miles, and in December 2016 at 83,539 miles; both at Porsche Centre Aberdeen.
