EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Finished in black paintwork with classic grey leather interior and a recently replaced black hood, this 968 boasts a particularly refined colour scheme. It is also equipped with electrically adjustable front seats, electric windows, and electric mirrors.
• The car is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, and now comes with a Janspeed sports exhaust, an aftermarket Kenwood DAB radio, and a ‘Club Sport’ style steering wheel that has recently been retrimmed.
• The original owner’s handbook and leather wallet are included with this vehicle along with partially complete service history evidence in the form of previous invoices and a letter from Porsche.

CONDITION

• There is no known body damage.
• The vehicle had a full glass-out body respray two years ago, so remains in excellent cosmetic condition today; the seller has noted only some very minor stone chips.
• Inside, the Classic Grey interior is in good condition, with some creases and natural ageing in the leather on the seats, and some wear to the gear shifter and carpets, commensurate with the vehicle’s age and mileage. A section of the driver’s bolster has also been replaced during the seller’s ownership due to a tear.
• The seller has noted that the headlight washers and digital clock do not currently work, and the washer fluid warning light is on, which is due to a faulty sensor.
• The rest of the electrics are believed to be in working order.
• The last MOT was carried out on 27 April 2021 at 114,296 miles with no advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The car has had just two keepers since 2005. All receipts and invoices have been kept for this period, including MOT certificates. The service history book was not present when the car was purchased in 2005.
• The last maintenance was carried out was in June 2020 by The Car Works in Berkhamsted, comprising an interim service and an alternator belt replacement.
• The cam belt, balance shaft seals, rollers, water pump, clutch, front shock absorbers and bump stops, wishbone bushes and castor bushes, were replaced by Carrera Engineering in August 2018 at 110,630 miles, along with the steering column shaft, engine mounts, and upper cam cover gaskets; with parts supplied by Porsche Centre East London.
• In 2017 at 107,406 miles, RPM Technik undertook a gearbox removal and service, as well as fitting new brake discs and pads all round, refurbished the alloy wheels (one of which now has a slight kerbing mark) and replaced the immobiliser (which has recently been removed by JZM in Kings Langley as it was faulty).
