KEY FACTS

• An attractive, matching numbers example of the 911 Carrera 3.2, with some desirable features including the uprated G50 gearbox and sport suspension.
• Under the engine lid sits a 3.2-litre air-cooled flat-six engine, producing 228bhp, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox with a hydraulic clutch.
• Originally registered in the USA and then Canada, this 911 was acquired by the seller and imported into Germany in 2017, where it received a European-spec bumper as well as a km/h speedometer.
• This is a well-kept 911 offered with an extensive service history, including 22 stamps in its original service book.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Finished in the classic Porsche shade of Guards Red, the car’s features include a full black leather interior, black-finished Fuchs alloy wheels, climate control, and a sunroof.
• The US speedometer was converted to kilometres in November 2019, and has been certified by Niederhellmann.
• The only other modifications inside are the addition of an OMP sports steering wheel and a modern stereo. The original stereo and steering wheel come with the car.
• The rear bumper has been replaced with a European version, and the original bumper is included in the sale.
• Also accompanying the car is the original service book and manual, key card and a folder containing invoices dating back to the car’s delivery. The car also comes with its original window sticker, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a CARFAX report, warning triangle, vest, and spare wheel.

CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The Guards Red paintwork is in very good condition overall, with only minor blemishes commensurate with the age of the vehicle, including some small stone chips to the front end of the car. The seller states that the bonnet has likely been repainted in the past, as the paint appears slightly thicker, and that the car could benefit from machine polishing.
• The black leather interior is in very good condition, and the leather around the gear lever is said to have been replaced. All of the seats present well, as do the switchgear and touchpoints.
• There are no known faults, though the electrically operated windows can be slow to operate.
• The most recent roadworthiness test was in December 2019, when the car registered a clean first-time pass.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The car was most recently serviced at 86,587 miles by G-Tek Automotive Corp in Ontario, Canada, who performed an engine oil and filter change. They also replaced the brake fluid, drive belt, ignition wires, sway bar bushing, air conditioning fluid, exhaust gasket and bonnet struts.
• Prior to this, the car was serviced in May 2014, when the fuel injection system was tested and maintained, and in September 2012 when an engine oil and filter change took place.
• Having been scarcely used in current keeper’s four-year ownership, the car would benefit from a fresh service.
