• An excellent example of the iconic ‘80s supercar benefitting from the numerous revisions made to later 930 models.
• In the engine compartment sits a 3.3-litre turbocharged flat-six, which produces up to 296bhp, sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• From the factory, this 911 was fitted with electrically adjustable heated sport seats and a sunroof, which are still in excellent working order.
• The only modifications made to the vehicle are an upgraded Dansk stainless steel exhaust system, and fitment of a three-spoke Momo steering wheel. The original steering wheel will be supplied with the car should any future owner wish to re-fit.
• Included with the car is an extensive stamped and invoice-based service history, a full complement of Porsche handbooks, a raft of old MOT certificates, the original tool kit and compressor, two keys and the V5 document.

CONDITION

• There is no damage to the bodywork, and no known accident history.
• The paintwork is in excellent condition throughout, retaining an impressive shine and free of any large blemishes, with only minor wear and a tiny scratch on one rear wheel arch noted by the vendor, though this is so small it was not picked up by the photographer’s camera.
• Inside, the upholstery and interior is believed to be original throughout, apart from the aforementioned steering wheel. The desirable sport seats are in great shape for their age, with only relatively minor wear.
• While there are no faults with the vehicle, the vendor notes that the air-conditioning system does need a re-gas, so would need to be converted to modern refrigerant.
• The most recent MOT test took place on 3 June 2021, and resulted in a clean pass with no advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The last stamped service took place in July 2017 at 74,018 miles and was carried out by marque specialist Carrera Classics, with subsequent (unstamped) maintenance being carried out by Redline Engineering.
• The vendor has changed the oil annually themselves, with the last change being carried out in February 2021, along with the air filter, fuel filter, and turbo blow-off valve seals. The gearbox oil was last changed in 2020.
• In addition to servicing, both front tyres were replaced less than 100 miles ago, with appropriate Porsche N-rated specification items fitted.

Full of character, this 1986 Porsche 911 (930) Turbo is a wonderful example of the iconic supercar, boasting impressive performance and an engaging driving experience.
