• The chrome work, badges and trim are in generally good condition, while the grey factory paint is in fair order, with the most notable deterioration on the hood and roof.
• Inside, the instrument cluster, controls, and steering wheel present in good condition.
• There is some heavy discolouration and creasing on the driver’s seat, but less so to the front passenger seat and rear bench. Some sun damage is visible on the dashboard and rear headrests.
• The vehicle requires some minor electrical work, and repairs to the exhaust and brakes.

SERVICE HISTORY

• During the current owner’s time with the vehicle the fuel injectors have been serviced and the fuel filter replaced. They report that the vehicle runs and drives well but it is not currently registered.

SUMMARY

This BMW 733i is an original and complete example of the very first 7-series, and it deserves to be brought back to an excellent standard by a dedicated enthusiast. Having been in storage for 19 years, minor mechanical would be beneficial before returning to the road, while a more thorough cosmetic refurbishment could restore the classic E23 to its original opulence.
