The Collecting Cars team returned to Hemkade 48 in September, following on from a great gathering in April, and the turnout was even bigger and better! Not only that, but the sun was shining, meaning that nobody had an excuse to leave a ‘dry weather’ car at home.

In total, more than 325 cars arrived on the day, spanning more than four decades of automotive history, and including almost every genre you could imagine. A custom classic VW Type 2 splitscreen mixed with the likes of BMW E92 M3s and Honda S2000s, while the supercar contingent was well represented by the likes of a Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, and F430 Spider enjoying the sunshine.

Lightweight and track-focused heroes were also out in force, including a Lotus Exige, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, and even a crowd-pleasing BAC Mono. Plenty of classics were on show too, including a Fiat Panda 4x4, original Mini, and a beautifully presented Opel Kadett GTE – once again highlighting the eclectic audience of enthusiasts that Collecting Cars brings together.

Attendees enjoyed refreshments and stimulating conversations with fellow drivers, and it was great to see the social buzz among people of all ages and backgrounds. If you missed out on this Coffee Run, then keep checking our ‘Events’ page for news of the next gatherings.
