On Saturday 16 September, Collecting Cars hosted its biggest ever Coffee Run, with the final tally standing at more than 3,000 cars on site. We once again had great weather for the event, with clear skies and dry roads meaning a truly eclectic mix of modern and classic machinery was in attendance, spanning generations of automotive history.

There were too many cars to name and pick as favourites, but honourable mentions include the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren 765LT Spider, a pair of Mitsubishi Pajero Evolutions, Ford GT, a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’, Alfa Romeo GTA, and the attention-grabbing Porsche 911 ‘RSR Art Car’ by Lefty.

Crowd-pleasing favourites were also out in force, featuring the likes of the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale and 550 Maranello, Porsche 997.2 GT3 RS, Jaguar E-Type and XE SV Project 8 – not to mention large contingents of AMGs and M-cars.

A dedicated area for Porsche Club GB parking reflected our ongoing relationship with the organisation, with the team from PCGB present during the morning to discuss the club and sign up prospective members.

Chris Harris made an appearance in the sensational new Porsche 992 GT3 RS, while other familiar faces from the Collecting Addicts podcast panel were also there to greet enthusiasts. For the first time, we were also pleased to offer some podcast-themed merchandise, which was hugely popular with those in attendance.
