SCHEDONI LUGGAGE FOR FERRARI F40

This set of Schedoni luggage for the Ferrari F40 is a rare collection of cases made specifically for the fabled twin-turbocharged analogue supercar. The bags are in excellent condition, with no significant signs of wear or use. There is also a full set of yellow dust bags.

Modenese luxury brand Schedoni has been responsible for supplying bespoke sets of exquisite leather luggage for every new Ferrari supercar and grand tourer since 1977. Individual cases for the Ferrari F40 are sometimes available on the market, it is very hard to find complete sets - especially ones in such remarkable condition.

The three items of luggage offered here comprise: one large circular suitcase, one small suitcase, and one garment carrier. These items were tailored for the F40 by Schedoni, with the larger case slotting into the spare wheel well under the front compartment, the garment carrier being stored behind the passenger seat, and the angled smaller suitcase fitting in the passenger footwell.

The cases were hand-crafted by Schedoni from tan leather, with Ferrari-branded cloth linings and tan zips, and finished with brass key locks, handle fixings and studs. The smaller suitcase also has a separate padlock. The leather is embossed with the ‘Cavallino’ emblem, as well as the 'F40', ‘Schedoni, Cuoio Modena’ logos. These cases do not appear to have been used, as there are still protective packing covers on a few of the zips and tags. A set of yellow draw-string dust bags keep the cases protected when in storage, and there is a luggage tag on each case.

This complete set of genuine Schedoni cases for the Ferrari F40 is an exceptionally rare collection of luggage, presented in superb condition. For a discerning owner of the 1980s performance icon, this would be an ideal addition to their supercar, whether for the purposes of concours completeness or to put to practical use on longer road trips.
