TANNER KROLLE LUGGAGE FOR ASTON MARTIN V8

This collection of Tanner Krolle luggage for the Aston Martin V8 is a rare set of cases, which was crafted by the London-based luxury leather goods brand for the Newport Pagnell models. The cases are all in good condition.

The four items of luggage offered here comprise: one large suitcase, one medium suitcase, one briefcase, and one vanity case. While not tailored for one specific car, it is understood that these cases were an optional extra for Aston Martin’s V8-engined models throughout the 1970s and 1980s.

Each case is finished in black leather, with gold detailing for the Aston Martin winged emblem, and brass handle mounts and Hodges combination locks. The cases feature the ‘Tanner Krolle & Co.’ labels affixed inside the cars or on the inner hinge covers.

All of the luggage is in good condition, with a lightly aged patina to the exterior leather, and very little wear or damage. There are a few small scuffs and scratches in the finish, but generally the cases present very well indeed.

Inside the bags, the red linings are in great shape, and the larger of the two suitcases also has leather restraining straps. The vanity case has elasticated pouches, water-resistant lining film, and the original lift-out tray and mirror in the lid. In the briefcase, there are slim document pouches for filing important papers, and two ring holders for pens.
