The Lamborghini Miura is one of the most iconic and evocative performance cars of all time, and is regarded by many if not most as the world’s first supercar.

This lot comprises an original and complete front nose body section from a Lamborghini Miura SV. It is understood that this original part was removed from the Miura SV during the 1970s, when the owner at the time decided to fit a modified nose section instead. The item has been carefully stored ever since then, and has never been re-fitted to a car.

The body section has the tell-tale signs of original 1960s metalwork, including various fabrication marks, and screw holes where fixtures and fittings would have been sited. It is currently stored safely on a large mobile frame, and is in generally very good condition.

This item would make a fantastic addition to any collection of Lamborghini automobilia, perhaps as the ultimate gift for a Miura fan or owner. Furthermore, it also lends itself to being restored and converted into a piece of automotive art or bespoke furniture, with the potential to be a truly attention-grabbing feature in any room.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading.
