This is a full set of five original Ferrari 330 GTC wheels, fitted with period-correct tyres. The wheels are 14-inch Campagnolo cast items, manufactured in magnesium alloy.
The square-hole design is known is the ‘40414’ pattern, and is confirmed by the original casting mark on the back of each wheel.
Revealed at the Geneva motor show in 1966, the 330 GTC is equipped with a 4.0-litre version of Ferrari’s legendary Colombo V12 engine. It followed on from the 275 GTB and preceded the 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’.
These original wheels are identified as Ferrari part number 700212. The tyres on the wheels are Michelin XWX items in size 205 VR 14 all round, and date-coded to 2008. The tread is virtually as-new.
Presented in very good condition, the wheels are structurally sound and have only a handful of blemishes to the facings – as shown in the photos. This full set of original Ferrari 330 GTC alloys and tyres would make a superb replacement set for a current owner, or road-ready alternates for a car that has a set of wire wheels as well.
