This is an exceptionally rare original and complete tool roll and accessory set for the Ferrari F40, and could be the perfect finishing touch for the acclaimed 1980s supercar - whether simply for originality’s sake, or for the purpose of concours judging.

The tool roll has a specific textured vinyl finish, with a soft lining, and is secured by Velcro. There are separate pockets for each screwdriver and wrench. The same exterior finish is applied to the Agip-branded bag for the emergency tyre inflator canister.

Also present is the centre-lock wheel nut removal tool, a Michelin Vigil tyre pressure gauge in its original box, screw-in towing eye, spare belts and bulbs, and a period set of NGK G63 spark plugs.

Stored in the tool roll is a full set of wrenches, as well as four screwdrivers - two flat-head and two Phillips cross-head - with translucent grips. There is also a set of Ferrari-branded pliers, a USAG socket ratchet and extensions, and four securing clips for the wheel centre locks. The tools appear to be in excellent condition, with some marks visible inside the wheel nut tool, and a few very small spots of surface corrosion on a few of the wrenches and screwdriver tips.

This very rare tool kit would be an interesting acquisition for any die-hard Ferrari enthusiast, and is also an essential item for most judged concours events, or to gain the most comprehensive Classiche certification.
