This factory-fresh 2021 Ariel Atom is a one-owner, lightweight sports car that boasts sensational performance on the road or track. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged Honda Type R engine producing 320hp, coupled to a slick six-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows just 126 miles.

First registered on 1 March 2021, this Atom has been with its first and only keeper from new, and as you would expect it remains in outstanding condition throughout. The owner waited 30 months for delivery of the car, but unfortunately in the meantime he had back surgery, which now forces the sale.

While body panels are few and far between on the Atom, its exoskeleton frame chassis, hardwearing black mouldings and red panels are in immaculate condition throughout, which is to be expected from a vehicle that has covered just 126 miles.

The cockpit of this Atom is also in pristine condition, having barely been sat in. The bucket seats are unmarked, the steering wheel is unworn, and all of the switchgear and buttons are in superb order. Everything works exactly as it should, with no warning lights or other faults.

Due to the low mileage of this Atom, there has been no need for any maintenance as of yet. The vehicle is supplied with all the Ariel dealership handbooks, paperwork and V5C registration document. All four tyres are in as-new condition, and the first MOT is not due until March 2024.

At launch, Top Gear magazine praised the Atom 4’s extra breadth of capability, while still being bowled over by its engine response: “The performance is frankly ridiculous. It’s supercar fast, Ferrari 488 or McLaren 720S pace, but with extra outdoors astonishment”. It was named by Autocar magazine as Britain's Best Driver's Car 2019.
