This Toyota GR Yaris is an outstanding example of the critically acclaimed hot hatch, which benefits from powertrain and suspension upgrades from performance specialist Litchfield Motors. The factory specification for this car includes Pure White paintwork with an interior of black leather and Ultrasuede fabric. As well as the Torsen differentials, the optional Circuit Pack also added lightweight BBS alloy wheels, red brake callipers, and Michelin Pilot 4S tyres.

Today, the car’s bodywork presents in excellent undamaged condition, and its paint finish is also superb. All of the body trims and badges are in great shape, as is the carbon-fibre roof, and the only non-standard exterior feature are the ‘Litchfield’ decals along each flank. The 18-inch forged BBS wheels are in excellent order, with no kerbing grazes or other damage.

The car also remains virtually as-new inside as well, with no wear or scuffs to any of the black leather or Ultrasuede upholstery, which is accented throughout by red contrast stitching. Standard equipment includes supportive sport seats, a touch-screen entertainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as USB connectivity and DAB digital radio. It is also fitted with a reversing camera, push-button start, and aluminium pedals. There are no electrical faults, and no warning lights present.

Beyond the Nitron coil-over suspension setup, the mechanical changes extend only to a Plug&Play tuning box that boosts power to 300bhp, also giving more mid-range torque and improving outright acceleration. If desired, the box can be removed in less than 15 minutes to put the car back to its factory tune. The car is not yet due for its first service, which should take place in December 2021. All four tyres are the original Michelin Pilot Sport 4S items, which are essentially as-new with 6-7mm of tread, having covered only 850 winter miles.

The GR Yaris has swept the board with ‘Hot Hatch of the Year’ gongs, being awarded the top prize by Evo magazine, Autocar, CAR, and Top Gear.
