2020 TOYOTA GR YARIS - DELIVERY MILEAGE

This Toyota GR Yaris is a pristine, as-new example of the sensational homologation hot hatch that has taken the industry by storm. Under the bonnet is a 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder motor, producing 257bhp and 265lb-ft of torque, coupled to a six-speed manual transmission that drives all four wheels via an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch. The GR-Four AWD system can be electronically switched to vary the torque distribution between, choosing between Normal (60:40, front to rear), Sport (30:70) and Track (50:50), to alter the driving characteristics of the car.

The bodywork and paint are immaculate, and while it may share parts of its nameplate with the common supermini, the GR Yaris shares only the front and rear lights and its wing mirrors with the regular runabout. This is a bespoke motorsport-focused machine, equipped with an aluminium bonnet and aluminium doors, as well as a carbon-fibre roof. With a relatively low roofline, it looks squat and purposeful on the road, and all of the body trims are still pristine - as are the 15-spoke alloy wheels.

Inside, the GR Ultrasuede fabric on the seats is accented by red stitching, which continues through the leather-trimmed steering wheel and the gaiters for the gear lever and handbrake. There is a touch-screen entertainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as USB connectivity and DAB digital radio. It is fitted as standard with a reversing camera, push-button start, and the Toyota Safety Sense package including Lane Trace Assist/Lane Departure Alert, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Sign Assist and Automatic High Beam. All of the upholstery is of course as-new, with no marks or scuffs.

Accompanying the car is all of the original literature supplied by the Toyota main dealer, as well as all keys, tools, and other accessories. It remains under the generous five-year warranty - and Toyota has already confirmed that track day use does not invalidate this cover.
