This 2020 Mini John Cooper Works GP is a delivery-mileage example of the fastest road-going Mini model yet, and remains brand new and unregistered. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four, producing 306bhp and 332lb-ft of torque, coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. The GP can sprint from 0-62 in 5.2 seconds and go on to a top speed of 164mph.

One of just 50 cars allocated for Australian buyers, this limited-run Mini is number 2,141 of 3,000 that will be built, and remains in new and unused condition with just 30 miles on the clock. It arrived in Australia in October 2020.

The JCW GP is the exhilarating, ultimate performance version of the third generation modern Mini, featuring a new twin-scroll turbocharger, reinforced crankshaft and lighter pistons, as well as bespoke intake and exhaust systems. It builds upon the John Cooper Works model’s already impressive performance, with the inclusion of thicker anti-roll bars, a lower ride height and a wider track.

Its bodywork and paint - Racing Grey Metallic for the main body and Melting Silver for the roof - are in pristine, unmarked condition. There are also recycled composite wheel arch extensions, a deeper front bumper and substantial rear wing, all of which are also as-new. It rides on 18-inch four-spoke alloy wheels, which are immaculate, fitted with the original Hankook Ventus S1 Evo Z tyres.

Stepping inside, the interior blends black and grey leather with black Dinamica suede cloth, and as per the rest of the car it is still in absolutely superb condition. Mini hexagonal detailing is presented across various pieces of trim, including the 3D-printed dashboard panel ahead of the passenger, the gear shift paddles, and the steering wheel 12-o-clock marker. There are also red accents throughout the cabin, with the seat belts, stitching, and red strut bar in lieu of rear seats, all finished in the vibrant hue.

The car was delivered to Australia just two months ago, and it will come with a Certificate of Roadworthiness upon handover, not to mention the remaining balance of the three-year BMW Mini factory warranty. There are of course no faults whatsoever, and it remains an as-new delivery mileage example. It will also be accompanied by all of its original supplied books, sales literature, tools and accessories.

This 2020 Mini John Cooper Works GP is a riotous hot hatch, which combines race-inspired styling with thrilling performance. With only 50 cars allocated to the Australian market, this remains an exceptionally rare performance model in the country, and is already a sought-after variant of the JCW car. Now sold out via dealers, this is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of the most adrenaline-pumping contemporary hot hatches, presented in brand new condition.
