2020 GINETTA G61-LT-P3 LMP3 PROTOTYPE

This 2020 Ginetta G61-LT-P3 is a stunning example of the British race car built to LMP3 specification, which remains in excellent, barely used condition. Powered by a 5.6-litre V8 engine coupled to a semi-automatic six-speed sequential transmission, this example has covered only 400 km since completion.

The G61 was built during 2020, with the car being delivered to the current and only owner, with a new price of €268,800. Since taking delivery of the vehicle, the car has only covered 400 km.

The bare carbon-fibre bodywork on this LMP3 prototype is in virtually unmarked condition, owing to the low usage of the car. The bodywork is entirely removable to facilitate easier maintenance, which is extensively detailed in the included engineer’s handbook. The wheels have a number of nicks and chips around the rims from shakedown mileage on track.

Inside, the cockpit of this G61 is incredibly spartan, with only the bare essentials being fitted to keep the weight as low as possible. The carbon-fibre seat is unmarked, as is the steering wheel. Everything in the cabin is working exactly as it should, including the on-board VBOX camera system and Racelogic unit. 

Owing to the age of the vehicle and its very low mileage, the vehicle has required only typical preparation and trackside maintenance. There are however numerous spares provided with the vehicle including bearings, fixtures, brake discs, brake pads and foam padding among other items.

The full Ginetta engineer’s manual is present and correct, detailing everything from oil and fuel changing procedures up to suspension component setup and more. In addition to this, the full manual for the NISMO VK56 V8 engine is also included. There are also several invoices from Ginetta themselves for spare parts and body mouldings, amounting to over £39,000 in total.

Having been built to LMP3 regulations, it is eligible for various championships including the European Le Mans Series and IMSA Prototype Challenge.
