2020 FERRARI 488 PISTA

This Ferrari 488 Pista is a remarkably potent road-and-track supercar, finished in a discerning factory specification, and offered in as-new condition by the first and only owner. Under the engine lid is an astonishing 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, with 710bhp and 568lb-ft of torque, driven through the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer shows just 480 miles.

Ordered from the factory in a restrained colour scheme, but with a high specification, this 488 Pista is an original UK market car that was first registered in January 2020. It remains with the original owner, having been driven sparingly over the last seven months. It is sold with the balance of the four-year Ferrari warranty and seven-year free servicing programme.

Of course, its bodywork remains as it left the factory, with absolutely no damage to any panels. The car was specified in the elegant hue of Argento Nurburgring, embellished with a Blu America racing stripe. It also has titanium exhaust tail pipes, and yellow brake calipers.

The exterior features a range of carbon-fibre components, including the front flaps, side air splitters, rear moulding and rear diffuser. The front air vents are also finished in carbon-fibre, as are the engine covers and underdoor covers. The car is equipped with the AFS headlights and the suspension lift system.

In the cabin, the standard Nero Alcantara seat trim also extends to the carpeting and the rear wall trim, while the inner sill trims are finished in carbon-fibre. The lightweight racing seats were specified in the large size. Their upholstery is accented by a black leather centre stripe, and there is Giallo stitching throughout - including for the embroidered Cavallino headrest emblems.

The yellow theme is continued with the Giallo rev counter, the button bezels on the transmission ‘bridge’, and the features on the floor mats. Factory-fitted equipment includes electrochromic rear-view mirrors, the RadioNavi system with Bluetooth, front and rear parking cameras, and the JBL premium audio system.

As the car has only been on the road for seven months, it is not yet due its first service. The annual MOT test requirement will only begin around January 2023.
