2019 MERCEDES-AMG SL 63

This Mercedes-AMG SL 63 is a nearly new example of the stylish cruiser, which presents in superb condition throughout. While the outside exudes sophistication, the powertrain endows the SL with a riotous hot rod character, comprising a 577bhp twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8, driving the rear wheels through the seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission with paddle shift and a limited-slip differential. The odometer shows just 5,006 miles.

First registered on 19 July 2019, this car has been with its first and only private owner from new, and is now offered for sale on their behalf.

Completely accident free, this SL 63’s bodywork is in excellent condition, with flush shut lines and even panel gaps, and with no dents or other marks. The Pearl White paint finish is also pristine, free of stone chips and other common flaws. The body colour is contrasted with gloss black front air vent surrounds, wing mirror caps, and rear diffuser trim. It rides on a staggered set of AMG forged cross-spoke alloy wheels, with a 19-inch diameter at the front and 20-inch at the rear, which are finished in satin black and remain unmarked.

Inside, the seats, dashboard, door cards, and transmission tunnel are upholstered in black leather, with white contrast stitching throughout. The seats’ black Nappa leather covers are immaculate, with no noticeable wear to the bolsters or bases, and the leather-trimmed steering wheel is in equally great shape. The front seats feature full electric adjustment and memory settings, as well as heating and ventilation, and Mercedes’ ‘Airscarf’ neck warmers. There are gloss-finish carbon-fibre accents across the centre console, dashboard, and door cards, which are in superb order. All of the switchgear works as it should, and there are no warning lights.

The car’s first scheduled maintenance was in August 2020 at Mercedes-Benz of Boston, which comprised an engine oil change and rear axle service. The next service is not due until August 2021 or 17,389 miles, whichever comes sooner.

The first MOT test is not due until 18 July 2022, and all four wheels are fitted with the original tyres, which still have around 6mm of tread remaining. Accompanying the car are the original books, while the service record is electronic - though a print-out is provided.

This Mercedes-AMG SL 63 is a stunning high-performance grand tourer, which offers coupe-like refinement and weather protection when the roof is up, and open-air thrills when retracted.
